Stone Bros Printing is a family workshop in Chicago run by two brothers. We print prototypes, hard-to-find replacement parts, and custom models for neighbors, makers, and small businesses across the city, and we ship nationwide.
How a local print job works
1. Tell us what you need
Send a photo, sketch, measurements, or an STL file. If you only have a broken part, we can measure it and model a replacement.
2. Get a free quote
We reply with the price, material options, and how long the print will take. No charge for the quote and no obligation.
3. We print and finish it
Printing happens on our own machine here in Chicago. We clean up supports, check the fit, and photograph the result.
4. Pick up or ship
Meet up locally around Chicago, or we pack it and ship anywhere in the United States.
Materials we print
PLA
Our default. Great detail and color range for models, toys, keychains, and display pieces.
PETG
Tougher and more heat resistant. Good for brackets, clips, and parts that get handled or live outdoors.
TPU (on request)
Flexible parts like gaskets, bumpers, and grips.
Turnaround, pricing, and pickup

- Small parts usually finish in 2 to 5 business days. Bigger batches and multi-part assemblies take about a week.

- Quotes are based on size, material, and print time. Small prints often land in the $5 to $25 range, and every quote is sent before we start.
